Ace Waste’s high temperature incinerator located at Willawong, Brisbane was commissioned in 1993. With continuous improvements and the highest standard of maintenance, our plant continues to lead the market in the safe and efficient disposal of hazardous waste streams.
Dandenong, Melbourne - Victoria
Our Dandenong, Victoria business was purchased in December 2005, with acquisition of the 5 hectare site in June 2006. This has provided us with a very solid base for expansion into the Victorian market. Major site improvements include a new receival and treatment facility, plus a state of the art high
temperature incinerator.
Engineered in Australia to strict specifications, Ace Waste’s licensed incineration facilities in Queensland and Victoria provide a high standard of safety and environmental performance which is responsible and accountable.
Waste-to-Energy Strategy
In July 1997 Ace Waste adopted a strategy for the future direction of the Company which included the use of the considerable heat energy available through incinerating medical waste for the co-generation of electricity. By integrating waste-to-energy into the Ace Waste Management Strategy, the Company strives to provide the most accountable and responsible solution for disposal of clinical and related waste and other waste streams.
